Raiders Defeat Black Bears

Eight players scored for Coach Dave Miller, led by Liz Lehman with 11 points. Morgan Fierek added nine points and nine rebounds, Eric Worden, Krystal Bosley, and Amber Burton chipped in six apiece, Jess McClellan notched four, and Kelley Tomlinson (six assists) and Sabrina Tomlinson both charted two.

The Raiders held an 8-6 margin after the first eight minutes and outscored the Black Bears 13-4 in the second quarter for a 21-10 halftime lead.

DeTour held Big Bay de Noc scoreless in the third quarter while scoring eight to increase the advantage to 29-10 before the Raiders held a 17-16 scoring edge in the final period. Five in Double Figures in Win

Over Tigers

Five players scored in double figures to lead the Raiders over the Tigers of Hillman during a home contest.

K r y s t a l Bosley scored 18 points with nine rebounds. Amber Burton added 12 points, Kelley Tomlinson chipped in 11 points and six assists, Liz Lehman and Morgan Fierek notched 10 each, Jess McClellan tallied five, and Eric Worden charted two.

DeTour held an 11-10 scoring edge after the first eight minutes, but Hillman outscored the Raiders 26-15 in the second quarter for a 36- 26 halftime advantage.

The Raiders turned the tide with a 22-4 margin in the third quarter for a 48- 40 lead and closed out the match-up with an 11-6 margin in the final period.

DeTour Defense Holds Wildcats

The DeTour defense held Alba to single-digit scoring in all four quarters en route to the non-league win.

The Raiders led 18-4 after the first eight minutes and built the margin in the second quarter for a 31-6 halftime lead before outscoring the Wildcats 35-12 in the second half.

Liz Lehman scored 14 points, Krystal Bosley added 12, Morgan Fierek chipped in 10, Jess McClellan notched eight, Amber Burton tallied seven, and Eric Worden charted six.
