Cheboygan won the meet with a team total of 345, while the Saints recorded 372.

Mapes carded an 18-hole score of 76 (39-37), best among the 36 golfers. Jeffrey Gamble finished 10th with 90 (44-46), Justen Frazier 11th with 95 (49-46), Dane Christiansen with 111 (57- 54), and Lewie Mullins with 115 (57-58).

Saints Finish Eighth

at Petoskey Tourney

The Saints recorded a team score of 384 to finish eighth at the Petoskey Invitational at Bay View Friday, September 15.

Tyler Mapes carded 81 to lead St. Ignace. Jeffrey Gamble tallied 85, Justen Frazier notched 103, Dane Christiansen chipped in 115, and Lewie Mullins charted 122.

Traverse City St. Francis won the Division 3/4 after registering 314 and Rudyard took second with 333. Traverse City Central captured Division 1/2 with 312.

St. Ignace Hosts Tri-Match

St. Ignace hosted a tri-match with Newberry and Inland Lakes, with the Bulldogs winning after posting a team score of 169, while the Indians recorded 175, and the Saints 187.

Mapes tied for medallist honors with 40. Gamble registered 44, Frazier added 48, Christiansen chipped in 55, Mullins charted 62, and Corey Swope tallied 79.
