To the Editor:

After watching the news over the last few days, I have to speak out. What is happening to our country? Ten innocent children shot executionstyle in Pennsylvania while they were in school, a young girl in Colorado shot and molested by a sick man, a young principal shot in Wisconsin by an angry student.

The National Rifle Association preaches that we have to have guns in order to protect ourselves. What would they have us do, have our children carry guns to school every day so that they can be safe? When are we going to wake up and start demanding some form of gun control? How many innocent children will have to be killed or injured before we take a stand against the National Rifle Association, and demand that our representatives start protecting our children and quit bowing down to the mighty dollar. Stand up, Americans, demand some kind of gun control.
