"A Clash of Cultures: The Impact of the Fur Trade on Michigan's Native Americans" will be the topic presented at 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, at the Mackinaw Area Public Library in Mackinaw City.

Keith Knecht of Cheboygan will speak about the daily lives of Michigan's Native Americans before and after European contact through the fur trade. Reproductions of Colonial and Native items will be on display.
