Donald Muscoe
Donald Muscoe, of Torrance, California, formerly of Cedarville, worked for 30 years in an engineering capacity for TRW, an aerospace and engine company. Mr. Muscoe died October 12, 2006, in Torrance.
He was born October 14, 1930, in Detroit, one of five sons of Marguerite (nee Hutchinson) and Mitchell Muscoe, of Cedarville.
He was a graduate of Cedarville High School and was a skilled athlete on the school's basketball team, competing with his team in the state championships.
Mr. Muscoe served in the United States Navy, and served during the Korean War.
He was a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.
Mr. Muscoe loved the Cedarville area and the Upper Peninsula, and was proud to have grown up there, family members said. He had lived in Torrance since 1957.
He is survived by a son and his family, Mitchell and Connie, a daughter, Cheryl, two brothers and their families, Kenneth and Carol and Eugene and Shirley, grandchildren Zachary and Shane, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Muscoe was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene, and two brothers, Mitchell and Robert.
Services were held at A.M. Gamby Funeral Home in Lomita, California. Burial was at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Bozeman, Montana.
