Mabel Pechta Mabel Pechta of Moran will celebrate her 95th birthday Christmas Day, December 25. She was born in 1911 to E.A. and Lula Ball of Ozark.

After retirement from the grocery store she operated in Moran with her husband, Harry, Mrs. Pechta became an ardent gardener and enjoys canning and baking for herself, family, and friends. She has created many pictures and crafts over the years. She is a member of Ozark Grace Brethren Church.

Her husband died December 24, 1991.

Mrs. Pechta has five children and their families, Shirley and Jerry Coleman of Connecticut, Gayle and Robert Murphy of Indiana, Ross and Jon-Jay Pechta of Michigan, Neil Pechta of Washington, and Vern Pechta of Arizona. She has 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
