Six area athletes, including two football players, and four basketball players, received all-state honors by The Detroit Free Press.

Caleb Rader of Pickford was named to the first team defense and Justin Baker of Cedarville received first team offensive honors.

Elicia Derusha of Engadine was named to the Class D first team, Emily Feldhake of Cedarville was named to the third team, Jessie Ledy of Pickford received fifth team honors, and Veronica Gough of Pickford was an honorable mention.
