Anna 'Marie' Long

Anna "Marie" Long of Roscommon was a former resident of Lake Orion and Curtis.

She died at the age of 92 Saturday, July 29, 2006.

She was born in St. Ignace January 16, 1914, to John and Mary LaBute Brown.

Mrs. Long was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She and her husband, Freeman Long, were married for 61 years, and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded by a grandson, Robbie Kibbe.

She is survived by her three children and their families, Marilyn and Robert Kibbe of

Roscommon, Charlie and Mary Ann Long of Oxford, and Gayle and Jack Oddy of Troy; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday, August 2, at 1 p.m., at Lake Orion Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home in Lake Orion. The Long family will receive friends that day from 11 a.m. until the time of services.

Interment will be at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Oxford.
