Police Reports The following are reports from the St. Ignace Police Department from August 1 to August 6: Police assisted emergency medical technicians who were dispatched to an apartment on North State Street about 3 a.m. Saturday, August 5, for a transport for a threeyear old boy, who suffered a cut on his left palm from glass. The boy was transported to Mackinac Straits Hospital. Police searched the city Friday evening, August 4, for a 26-yearold woman who left a ferry dock following an argument with her husband. They had just returned from Mackinac Island. The woman's mother told police that her daughter had a history of grand mal seizures. The fire department was called to an apartment on Church Street when a burned meal set off a smoke alarm Wednesday evening, August 2. Later that night, a gas leak was discovered near a meter at a downtown building after pedestrians smelled gas and called police. The fire department, gas company, and the supervisor of the building went to the scene. The St. Ignace Police Department filed 21 incident reports from August 1 to August 6. |
