Phil Quinn of Cedarville and Sonnet Carpenter of Whitehall were married Saturday, July 8, at Mount Pleasant Community Church in Mount Pleasant, by Dr. Scott McKee.
Parents of the bride are Thomas and Robin Carpenter of Whitehall, and parents of the groom are Leroy and Lori Pieri of Cedarville.
The bride wore an ivory colored, tiered, strapless gown with a beaded bodice, and carried longstemmed pink roses, ivory spray roses, and purple alstroemeria.
She was given in marriage by her father, Thomas Carpenter.
Maid of honor was the sister of the bride, Elizabeth Carpenter of Whitehall, and she was accompanied by attendants Andrew and Heath Carpenter, brothers of the bride, and cousins of the bride, Tarami Long of Mount Pleasant and Bethany Hartley of Muskegon.
The groom's honorary attendant was his sister, Emily Pieri of Cedarville, and she was accompanied by groomsmen, Dustin Mason, Andy Drenth, and Nick Schaedig, all of Cedarville, and cousin of the groom, Isaac Suggitt of Kinross.
The ladies in the wedding party wore tea length teal dresses and carried bouquets that complemented the bride's, while the men wore tuxedos.
Flower girl was Ariana Petz and ring bearer was Micah Rose.
Ushers were Carlos Bourdet and Sullivan Quinn.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Nick Stokes, Molly Morris, Tom and Kim Quinn, Robin Carpenter, Ruth Holden, and Jacquie Wood.
The couple took a wedding trip to Disney World in Florida, and now reside in Cedarville.
Friends and family members will join the couple for an open house and reception after Sunday, August 13, services at First Union Church in Cedarville.
