Locals Enjoy Pennant-clinching Win at Comerica Park
 | | Caralyn BeDour, originally of Cedarville, and her boyfriend, Pete Postula, originally of DeTour, attended the Detroit Tigers' playoff game against the Oakland Athletics at Comerica Park Saturday, October 14.  | | Tigers players and fans go wild as Detroit celebrates a bottom of the ninth, two-out, three-run home run by Magglio Ordonez to win the game 6-3, sweeping the A's four games to none, and advancing to the World Series . The World Series begins Saturday, October 21 in Detroit. The Tigers will play the National League champion, which will be either the New York Mets or St. Louis Cardinals. |
