Sighting In...

Jim Sherlund of Hessel gets some assistance from Richard Sitz of Cedarville while sighting-in his 50- caliber Winchester muzzleloader Sunday afternoon, November 12, at the Les Cheneaux Sportsman's Club in Cedarville. Mr. Sitz is a member of the club, and one of the many volunteer members who staffed the club's sight-in days November 11 through Tuesday, November 14. By Sunday, an estimated 30 people had sighted-in their firearms at the club's range. Volunteers at the range said they typically see hundreds of hunters, concentrated in the two days before the Firearm Deer Hunting season begins November 15.
