Making the Ranks: Scouts Learn Local Government

Members of Cub Scout Pack 140 of Les Cheneaux speak with Clark Township Board Trustee Mike Lofdahl at the township's second annual open house Wednesday, November 8. The event gave the scouts, in grades one through three, the opportunity to speak with township trustees and employees and learn more about local government as part of their rank progress. Most of the pack's 21 members attended the event, which attracted about twice as many residents to meet with township representatives and enjoy homemade refreshments.
