Fourteen seniors dominated The St. Ignace News Top 20 All-Area Basketball Teams for the 2006 season.

Dream Team

Seniors Elicia Derusha of Engadine, Emily Feldhake of Cedarville, Jessie Ledy and Veronica Gough of Pickford, and Corine Ross of Rudyard.

Defensive Team

Seniors Chelsey O'Connor and Renae Reich of Pickford, Amber Burton of DeTour, Kara Griffin of Cedarville, and junior Jessica Massaway of St. Ignace.

First Team

Seniors Kelsey Cryderman of St. Ignace, Caitlin Mortinsen of Pickford, sophomores Jessie Duncan and Billie McLeod of Cedarville, and Erin Jarvie of Rudyard.

Second Team

Seniors Nicole Benoit of Engadine, Kelley Tomlinson of DeTour, Carrie Aikens of Brimley, sophomores Amanda Coveyou of St. Ignace, and Lauren MacArthur of Engadine.
