Eagles' Derusha is EUPC Player of the Year Again

Elicia Derusha of Engadine was selected by the coaches of the Eastern Upper Peninsula Conference as the girls basketball Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.

Joining Derusha on the first team (in the order of voting by the coaches) were Emily Feldhake of Cedarville, Jessie Ledy of Pickford, Veronica Gough of Pickford, and Jessie Duncan of Cedarville.

The second team consisted of Billie McLeod of Cedarville, Nicole Benoit of Engadine, Carrie Aikens of Brimley, Caitlin Mortinsen of Pickford, and Chelsey O'Connor of Pickford.

Receiving honorable mention were Kelley Tomlinson and Amber Burton of DeTour, Shauni Rutledge of Engadine, and Amber Aikens of Brimley.
