Children Enjoy School Thanksgiving Tradition
Pickford kindergarten students (clockwise, from left) Abby Van Luven, Taylor Green, Trenton Huyck, and Drew Batho dig into their Thanksgiving dinnerWednesday, November 22, at the school's multiple purpose room. The dinner is an annual tradition that the school hosts for students in kindergarten through fifth grades. Some students dress as characters present at the first Thanksgiving meal, according to historical accounts, including American Indians and pilgrims. Other students made their own, festive place mats, and pilgrim table decorations.
