Jan. 5 Is Due Date for Barn Award

The deadline is January 5 to nominate a barn for one of two Barn of the Year awards to be given by the Michigan Barn Preservation Network.

Awards will be presented in two categories, adaptive commercial or nonprofit use, and continuing agricultural or adaptive family use.

The person who nominates a barn for the award does not have to be the barn’s owner. For more information, contact Keith Bruder at (734) 461-2498.

Barns that were nominated for the 2006 award presentation that did not win awards will automatically be considered for 2007.
