St. Ignace 8th-Grade Hoops Team Splits First Eight Games

St. Ignace’s eighth grade basketball team defeated Newberry 40-32 Monday, December 11, and Rudyard 41-38 Thursday, December 14, to improve its record to 4-4 on the season.

In the Saints’ win over the Indians, the teams battled to a 32-32 score late in the fourth quarter before the Saints defense stopped Newberry in its tracks.

into the fourth quarter before outscoring the Bulldogs 13-4 to post the win.
