Trojans Beat DeTour, Remain Perfect in EUPC

Andy Dyal DeTour Andy Dyal DeTour Cedarville's basketball team remained undefeated on the season after upending DeTour 79-51 during an Eastern Upper Peninsula Conference (EUPC) contest Friday, January 12.

"Everyone played well and I was pleased with the effort," said Trojans Coach David Duncan.

The Trojans, 3-0 in the EUPC and 8-0 overall, led 24-10 after the first eight minutes and outscored the Raiders (1-2 in the league and 4-3 overall) 19-13 in the second quarter for a 43-23-halftime advantage.

Cedarville continued to dominate with a 22-15 advantage in the third quarter to increase its lead to 65-38 before holding a 14-13 scoring edge in the final period.

Trojans Win JV Game

Taylor Smith and James Mitchell scored 24 points each to lead Cedarville to an 81-66 win over DeTour in the junior varsity basketball game. Eastern Upper Peninsula
