St. Ignace will be the site of one of three workshops to assist fire departments and emergency medical service agencies in applying for grants through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. The St. Ignace workshop is planned for Wednesday, February 21, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Little Bear East Arena.

Workshops are also planned in Marquette Tuesday, February 20, and Escanaba Thursday, February 22. They are sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security to explain changes in the grant program this year. No pre-registration is required.
