The school was selected by the Eastern Upper Peninsula Intermediate School District (EUPISD) to showcase successful educational progress in technology. Representatives of the EUPISD, teachers from across the Upper Peninsula, parents, and grandparents attended the event.

During Gros Cap School's Technology Fair Friday, January 26, third grade student Tristan Calcaterra sits prepared to answer questions about his project. Kindergarten through eighth grade students displayed technology projects based on the Michigan Educational Technology Standards and Expectation curriculum.
