There are three candidates: Lynn VanAlstine, Karen Aldridge, and Ron Papin vying for two seats. Other issues on the ballot are the annual renewal of the school's 18-mill levy on all nonhomestead properties. Our granddaughter, Lauren Izzard, is among others home from the University of Michigan for the summer.
