The April 26 profile of Pickford Public Schools Board of Education candidate Ron Hill incorrectly reported he was a Pickford High School graduate. Mr. Hill was graduated from Doyle High School in Knoxville, Tennessee.

In the Thursday, April 19, issue of The St. Ignace News, under the headline "Village Plan Allows Oversized Sign for Mackinaw City Store," it was incorrectly stated that the primary sign for Jim Wehr's Mackinaw Outfitters will be the largest in the village. According to Community Development Director Steve Schnell, there are larger signs in the village, but they are non-conforming, meaning they would not be allowed under the village's current sign ordinance. The article also states that the Mackinaw Outfitters sign exceeds the maximum height allowed. The sign reaches the maximum-allowable size for a sign in the village, but does not exceed it, Mr. Schnell said.
