"The Girls of the Garden Club" by John Patrick will be presented Saturday, May 5, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 6, at 3 p.m. at the Old Gymnasium in Cedarville. The Cedarville High School Drama Club will present both performances at the gymnasium stage at Les Cheneaux Community Schools.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and younger. They can be purchased at the door.

"The Girls of the Garden Club" is a comedy that centers around Rhoda Greenleaf and her quest for the presidency of the Ho Ho Kus Little Lake Garden Club. Standing in her way is the incumbent president, Lillybelle, who peppers her speech with French phrases and "is a general pain in the neck," said the show's director, Lisa Dunn. Throughout the play, Rhoda Greenleaf plots to oust Lillybelle, and install herself as president as she pushes husband, children, and home aside in pursuit of her quest.
