Program To Focus on Livestock Health

A meeting about livestock health, with a particular emphasis on parasitic worms, will be hosted by the Noah's Ark 4-H Club Monday, May 14, at 6 p.m. at the Pickford United Methodist Church in Pickford. The meeting is free to the public.

Dr. Clint Groover, Barb Groover, and several Michigan State University veterinary students will speak about worms and how to guard livestock against infestation. They will describe the signs and symptoms of worm infestation, livestock disease transmission, livestock management tips, and methods for proper sanitization.
