Linda Lea Roberts Linda Lea Roberts Linda Lea Roberts of Drummond Island was the owner and operator of Alpena Cab Company.

She was 58 when she died Monday, May 28, 2007, at her mother's home on Drummond Island.

She was born April 7, 1949, in Sault Ste. Marie, to Vern Calvin and Etta Donna (nee Tolan) Anderson.

She grew up on Drummond Island and was graduated from DeTour High School.

She also lived in Hancock and Alpena. She was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Church on Drummond, the Salvation Army in Hancock, and the Moose Lodge in St. Ignace.

She also attended the Drummond Island Moose Lodge. Ms. Roberts enjoyed baking, art, and crafts.

Ms. Roberts is survived by one son, Raymond Garniss of Drummond Island; one daughter, Lyn Ann Austin of Sault Ste. Marie; and two granddaughters, Zoeie and Starr Austin; her mother, Etta Anderson of Drummond Island; two brothers and their families, Clayton and Nancy Anderson of Hazlet, New Jersey, and Donald Anderson of Sault Ste. Marie, and two sisters and their families, Donna and John Hancock of Middleburg, Florida, and Joyce and Dale DeLay of Scottsboro, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Angel Garniss, and by her father, Vern Anderson.

Graveside services will be Monday, June 4, at 2 p.m. at the Drummond Island Cemetery. Deacon Charles Krahnke will officiate.
