What a busy past weekend it was all around the area, from the Tahquamenon Valley Cruisers Car Show in downtown Newberry, the wine and cheese tasting and auction fundraiser at Chamberlin's Ole Forest Inn in Curtis, to the Mackinac Bridge 50th anniversary celebration in St. Ignace and Mackinaw City.

I was able to make it to just one event, which was the car show in Newberry, where people of all ages filled the downtown area with their cruisin' classics.

This was the first year the streets in the downtown area were blocked off and cars were on display all along the streets. It made it very convenient for everyone, and the cars were amazing.
