Sportsman's Club Holds Art, Craft Show
The Hiawatha Sportsman's Club will hold its 57th annual Art, Craft, and Hobby Show Saturday, August 4, and Sunday, August 5. The show will be at the club's Activities Building from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on both days. Displays will include oil and watercolor paintings, woodcarving, needlepoint, quilts, stained glass, fly tying, and collections. Some artists will demonstrate their work, and examples from children's art classes will also be exhibited.
Vi Wash and Jim Hayes are this year's featured artists.
The public is invited, and refreshments will be served. Exhibitors are limited to club members and their families. The Activities Building is located 3.5 miles east of Engadine and is reached by the Hiawatha Trail (H-40). Turn at Lake Boulevard.
