Marylan Benson (right) and her daughter, Laura Quinn, visited the Fort de Buade Museum Monday, July 30, and met with St. Ignace City Manager Eric Dodson (center), and Councilmen Merv Wyse and Tom Della-Moretta (not pictured). The city is completing a purchase agreement for the building with the Benson family. Mrs. Benson then plans to donate to the city the museum artifacts from the collection of her late husband, Donald Benson.
