The Great Lakes Boat Building School on Meridian Street in Cedarville will offer the public a chance to tour the facility and meet staff Saturday, August 11, from noon to 6 p.m. Everyone is invited.

The open house and touring opportunity will be the first public showing of the school.

The school will also offer free metal casting, boat building, and restoration seminars Monday, August 20, through Friday, August 31. More information will be available at the school, which will launch its nine-month program this fall.
