Munoscong Mixed Doubles Golf

The team of Jim and Beth Quinnell and Mike and Penny Poluk carded a score of 32 with 11 putts for first place in the Munoscong Mixed Doubles Golf League Friday, August 3.

Denny Smith and Cindy Harrison, and Brian Lander and Joyce Alley, finished second.

Harry Smith was closest to the pin with second shot on hole 13. Dave Postma was closest to the pin with third shot on hole 14. Joyce Murray recorded the longest putt on hole 15, and Chelsey O'Connor was closest to the pin with tee shot on hole 16.

Munoscong Ladies Day Golf

Amanda Ross carded a 48 for low gross and Dorothy McDowell and Bev Vandergeest shared low net honors with 38 in the first flight of the Munoscong Ladies Day Golf League Wednesday, August 1.

Phyllis Baxter recorded a 47 for low gross and Gloria Smith a 38 for low net in the second flight, Arlene Portice 48 for low gross and Ione Barber 37 for low net in the third flight, and Gladys Baxter 65 for low net and Joyce DeWitt 37 for low net in the fourth flight.

Special Events

Paulette Belair and Arlene Portice shared the fewest putts with 14. Joyce Alley came closest to the cart path on hole 15. Phyllis Baxter was closest to the pin on hole 16, and Evalyn Jacobson and Judy Hamilton shared the most putts with 16.

Munoscong Seniors Golf

Stu Murray carded a 37 for low gross and Steve Earle had the fewest putts at 11 during the Munoscong Seniors Golf League Thursday, August 2.

Nate Casteel had the longest putt on hole one, Jim Wallis was closest to the pin with second shot on hole five, and Jim Christensen was closest to the pin with tee shot on hole nine.
