Munoscong Ladies Day League

Dorothy McDowell carded a low gross score of 43 and Phyllis Baxter low net with 35, taking first place in the Munoscong Ladies Day Golf League Wednesday, August 15.

Paulette Belair recorded a 49 for low gross and Arlene Portice a 34 for low gross in the second flight, Sonja Clegg 48 for low gross and Judy Olson 32 for low net in the third flight, and Gladys Baxter, a 51 for low gross, and Florie DesJardins a 39 for low net in the fourth flight.

Special events: Arlene Portice and Gladys Baxter shared low putts with 14, Evalyn Jacobson closest chip on hole 17, Portice won closest to the water on hole 14, and Florie DesJardins most three putts.

Munoscong Mixed Doubles

The foursome of Dennis Smith, Cindy Harrison, Brian Lander and Joyce Alley carded a 34 with nine putts for first place in the Munoscong Mixed Doubles Golf League Friday, August 17.

Special events: Gerry Burch had the longest putt on hole one. John Manning won closest to the pin with his second shot on hole five, while Brian Lander was closest to the pin with his third shot on hole seven. Cindy Harrison was closest to the pin with tee shot on hole nine.

League

Dick Carr registered nine-hole score of 37 for low gross and Jack Nadeau recorded the lowest putts with 12 during the Munoscong Seniors Golf League Thursday, August 16.

Special events: Fred Simpkins had the longest putt on number 18, Jim Stevenson was closest to the pin with second shot on number 15, and Murray Bryant wasclosest to the pin with tee shot on number 11.
