Barry Leads Panthers to 36-0 Win

Kyle Barry Kyle Barry Senior Kyle Barry rushed for more than 200 yards and scored four touchdowns to lead the Pickford Panthers to a 36-0 Mid- Eastern Football League (MEFL) win over the Bark River-Harris Broncos (1-4 overall) Friday, September 21.

The game was called with 18 seconds left in the first half owing to lightning and a tornado warning in Bark River.

Barry gained 232 yards and reached the end zone on runs of 74 yards, 26, 61, and one in the first half. The Panthers' Paul Walsh scored from 25 yards out in the second quarter before the game was called.

Panthers offense stats: Kyle Barry, 13 carries for 232 yards; McKinley Portice, five of 14 passing for 85 yards; Paul Walsh, eight carries for 71 yards, two receptions for 12 yards; Dylan Rye, two receptions for 61 yards, three carries for 32 yards; Matt Rose, one reception for 12 yards.
