The Eastern Upper Peninsula Fine Arts Council will hold its annual holiday Community Choir Concert Thursday, December 13, at 7:15 p.m. at the Drummond Island Lutheran Church and at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 16, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in DeTour Village.

The choir features vocalists and musicians from Goetzville, Cedarville, Hessel, DeTour Village, and Drummond Island.

Since the inception of the program, the free will offerings from the concert have provided more than $14,000 in scholarships for area students to attend fine art camps.

A highlight of the DeTour program will be the announcement of the DeTour Area Volunteer of the Year award.
