Drivers: Match Speed With Conditions

      A proposed state law that permitted local governments to set speed limits on gravel roads was vetoed by the Governor Jennifer Granholm in December, but that will not impact Mackinac County, and road officials stress that drivers should match their speed to road conditions, not speed limits.
