Looking Back
A three-masted lumber schooner, piled high with logs, illustrates how lumber was once transported out of Clark Township before steam ships and rails took over. Much of the lumber harvested in the Eastern Upper Peninsula was transported major ports and was used in the construction of cities like Chicago and Port Huron.
