Middle School Talent Show Raises Science Funds

Zack Major celebrated his birthday Thursday, January 11, by organizing a St. Ignace Middle School talent show to help raise money for science laboratory coats. The sixth grade student's project netted $66. Participating in the talent show (from left) are singer Sarah Berger, Tyler Beebe and Kellee Waara, who won second place performing a dance, Chantel Anderson, who won first place with her song, Brooklyn Chambers, who came in third place with a duet, Marina Bown, who presented a video, Shelby Litzner, who came in third place with a duet, contest judge Jaici Sheimki, John Ellis, who played the trombone, and host Zack Major. Also helping with the talent show were Michelle Hiser, Abby Chambers, and a mystery judge.
