Rachel Ruth Storey and Thomas Robert Hayes, both of Holland, Michigan, were married September 2, 2006, at 3 p.m. at Pickford Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Ron Bown officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Mary Storey of Pickford. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The groom is the son of Dawn Robley of Cedarville and Robert Hayes of Sterling Heights.
Lisa DeBoerer served as maid of honor, while bridesmaids were Christy Thurmes, Lori Prucha, Stacy Storey, Angie Bennin, Laura Derry, Melissa Rundio, Gretchen Storey, Kerri Miller, and Lee Anne Malkowski. Alayna Storey and Hanna Malkowski served as flower girls.
Best man was Richard Barr. Groomsmen were Joe Adams, Steve Vandermeer, Scott Barr, Evan Engle, Mark Storey, Matt Storey, Johnny Bellott, Josh Fultz, and Mark Paquin. Alec Storey served as ring bearer.
Dawn Akers provided music for the ceremony.
The bride wore a silk, A-line dress with lace bodice and covered buttons down the back, and carried a bouquet of light pink hydrangeas and roses.
The bridal party wore strapless black silk gowns with fuschia waist sashes.
A reception followed the ceremony at Dream Makers Theater at Kewadin Casino.
The bride, a 1999 graduate of University of Michigan, is employed in pharmaceutical sales for Merck and Company in Grand Rapids. The groom, a 2000 graduate of Lake Superior State University, is employed as an engineer with Karona Door of Caledonia.
A wedding trip was taken to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
