Eagles Volleyball 3rd at Inland Lakes

Engadine varsity volleyball team finished third during the Inland Lakes Volleyball Invitational Saturday, January 6, while Eagles senior Rose Paquin was named to the All-Tournament Team.

The Eagles swept two-game series from East Jordan, Rudyard, and Alanson and lost two to Pellston in pool play. Engadine dropped two of three games to Boyne City in the semifinals and upended the host Bulldogs 2-0 for third place.

"This was a total team effort," said Eagles Coach Kathy Miller. "We need to continue to work on our defense, but that will come with more competition."

Eagles Sweep Raiders

Engadine swept DeTour 25-21, 25-11, and 25-15 during an Eastern Upper Peninsula Conference match Thursday, January 4.

"After practicing since the end of November, it was great to finally be able to compete," said Coach Miller.
