Joey Duncan of Cedarville won the Upper Peninsula Elks Free Throw Shooting contest in the eight- and nine-year-old division at Ishpeming High School Saturday, January 6.

The fourth grade student at Les Cheneaux Elementary School made 21 of 25 free throws and will advance to the state finals in Midland Saturday, January 27.
