Sault Tribe To Host Three College Fairs in February

High school students seeking information about enrolling in college are welcome to attend one of three college fairs in February, offered by the Education Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

The tribe will hold three fairs:

Sunday, February 18 - 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Manistique Tribal Center

Monday, February 19 - 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Big Bear Arena in Sault Ste. Marie

Tuesday, February 20 - 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Little Bear East Conference in St. Ignace

College representatives will be available to answer questions. Visitors can participate in workshops to learn more about financial aid, the Michigan Indian Tuition Waiver, and scholarships from the tribe and other sources.

Chili and frybread will be offered, as well as door prizes and giveaways.
