Kevin Thompson Cedarville
Cedarville continues to take care of business in search of an Eastern Upper Peninsula Conference (EUPC) championship, marking a 90-50 league win over Engadine Friday, January 19.

The Trojans shared the conference title with Brimley last year, and this season are 5-0 in the standings with Brimley (at home) and DeTour and Pickford (on the road) remaining on their schedule.

"Cedarville has so many weapons and you must come ready to play each and every minute," said Eagles Coach Elmer Albright. "They come after you."

Balanced scoring has been the key for the Trojans, who stand 10-0 overall. Against the Eagles, eight players scored seven or more points, with four in double figures.

The Trojans led 19-10 after the first eight minutes and increased the lead to 41-20 at halftime, with a 22- 10 advantage in the second quarter.

Cedarville continued the offensive output with a 26-15 margin in the third quarter for a 67-35 lead. The Trojans outscored Engadine, who fell to 5-5 overall and 1-2 in the league 23-15 in the final period.

"We continue to play well and our balanced offense has been a key to our success, along with our intensity on defense," said Trojans Coach David Duncan.

The sale items will include old Trojan uniforms, equipment and other athletic paraphernalia. For more information, call the school at 484-2256.
