Bake Sale for Ballard Feb. 2

A fundraiser is planned for Gary Ballard Jr. of Moran, who was diagnosed last week with a brain tumor. Mr. Ballard, 34, the son of Pam and Gary Ballard, attended Les Cheneaux schools.

He and his wife Teena have three children who attend St. Ignace Area Schools. The family does not have medical insurance.

A bake sale is planned Friday, February 2, beginning at 7 a.m. at the US-2 St. Ignace Shell gas station. Baked goods can be donated at the Shell station Thursday, February 1. Monetary donations are also being accepted at U.P. State Credit Union in care of Gary Ballard Jr.
