Marilynn 'Jean' Butkovich Marilynn "Jean" Butkovich, 68, of Engadine, was formerly employed at the Newberry Regional Mental Health center, and then as a bartender at McNeil's Bar in Gould City and the Pines Bar in Engadine. Ms. Butkovich died unexpectedly Monday morning, January 15, 2007, at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell, Georgia. She was born January 20, 1938, in Newberry to Thomas L. and Signe M. (nee Huhta) Butkovich. She grew up in the Engadine area and attended Engadine Consolidated Schools. She is survived by two sons, Ricky Brown of Georgia and Tracy Brown of Tennessee, a daughter, Nona Hand, also of Georgia, four grandchildren, and siblings and their families, Thomas and June Butkovich of Engadine, Tony and Virginia Butkovich of Wisconsin, Sandra of Arizona, and Sylvia Robinson of Newberry. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Harold Butkovich, and a son, Glen Brown. No local services are planned at this time. Beaulieu Funeral Home of Newberry assisted the family with arrangements. |
