Engadine improved to 13-3 on the season and 3-0 in the league after defeating Pickford 20-25, 25-18, 25-22, and 25-17 in a battle between two of the top teams in the Eastern Upper Peninsula Conference Thursday, January 25.

"This was a very competitive match between two equally strong teams," said Eagles Coach Kathy Miller. "We were just happy to get the win on the road.

Engadine junior varsity defeated Brimley 25-21 and 25-9 and Newberry 25-5, 23-25, and 15-9 and suffered a 29-31, 26-24, and 7-15 defeat at the hands of the Pickford Panthers.
