Brrr, it's cold. The water is frozen, the car won't start, the furnace doesn't kick out enough heat. I know, quit complaining, nothing lasts forever, at least not the cold, thank goodness.

Tara Weger has been enjoying a birthday celebration that lasted longer than just one day. Her mom, Arlene, came from Arizona for a little cold weather and to celebrate Tara'a birthday February 11.

Dave Beaudoin of Curtis was a dinner guest at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Dave Livermore, and enjoyed Army talk with his nephew, Dave, as he was once stationed in Germany as well.

Wednesday, February 14, Valentine's Day, the monthly TGIW ("thank goodness it's Wednesday") will be held at the Rexton Mennonite Church and will, of course, be centered around Valentine's Day. Bring a friend and enjoy a potluck meal and a social time of fellowship.

Belated birthday wishes to Diane Reinhold, a most exuberant and vibrant lady, who celebrated her birthday February 6. Happy birthday to Ray Derusha February 12, Eric Formolo, Brooke Livermore, and Susan Fosdick, all celebrating February 15, and Adam Benoit February 17.

Anniversary wishes to Dale and Evelyn Burgess February 12, and John and Bonni Bodi February 14.
