Antique Snowmobiles Will Be Displayed at Naubinway
15th Annual Show Is This Weekend

Naubinway will be the site of the 15th Annual Antique and Vintage Snowmobile Show Friday, February 16, through Saturday, February 17. This year, the show will feature twin track snowmobiles and will include Hus-skis, Raiders, and other twin track machines. The event is endorsed by the Antique and Vintage Snowmobile Club of America.

Festivities begin Friday at 9 a.m. with a vintage snowmobile ride that begins at King's Motel in Naubinway and ends at the Garfield Township Hall in Engadine, where the West Mackinac American Legion will host a breakfast. The cost is $6 for anyone over the age of five.

Friday at 1 p.m., riders of antique, vintage, and newer sleds can take part in the six-mile Bonfire Ride, which begins at 1 p.m. in Naubinway and ends at the Pipeline Bridge. At the bonfire, riders can warm up and roast hot dogs and marshmallows. Riders may bring their Hus-skis, to participate in the "Hus-ski Hustle" obstacle course.

Saturday beginning at 9 a.m., participants can register to display their sleds at King's Motel. Sleds will be on display on Main Street in Naubinway from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Food booths and a swap area will be available.

A banquet, a raffle, and drawings for prizes will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Garfield Township Hall.
