Saints Steel Drummers

The Saints Steel Drum musicians will be part of the Night of Jazz, Pop, and Steel 2007 Saturday, March 10, at the LaSalle High School. The LaSalle High School Music Department has announced Saturday, March 10, as the date for its "Night of Jazz, Pop, and Steel," offering an evening of dinner, dessert, and entertainment by school musicians. The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the school gymnasium. Ticket prices range from $9 to $15, depending upon table location; tickets are limited and must be pre-purchased from the school music department.

Performers will include the LaSalle Jazz Band, Saints of Steel, Squirts of Steel, Community Steel Band, High School Choir, Children's Choir, Just Dance Studio, Mini-Mac Percussion, and Mac Percussion.

Table sponsorships are still available for the event. To arrange sponsorship or purchase tickets for Night of Jazz, call band director Jason Byma at 643-8200. Proceeds benefit programs of the school music department.
