Reward Offered for Tips in Burglaries

Burglaries at Chippewa Motors in Sault Ste. Marie and Cedarville Marine in Cedarville have prompted the Michigan State Police and the Mackinac County Sheriff's Department to request public assistance in solving these crimes.

The burglary at Chippewa Motors occurred early in the morning Saturday, January 6, when someone stole helmets and a large quantity of snowmobile clothing, valued at more than $3,000. Similar items were stolen from Cedarville Marine, leading police to believe the crimes may be related.
