Lenten Worship Schedule Announced

The St. Ignace Ministerial Association will host mid-week worships at area churches during the season of Lent, the 40 days before Easter.

All worship services, except for Ash Wednesday, include a potluck meal at 6:30 p.m.

Offerings will be gathered at each session, with some benefiting a mission trip to Honduras.

The worship schedule, followed by each session's requested offering, is as follows: Wednesday, February 21, Ash Wednesday, at Zion Lutheran Church at 7 p.m., children's chewable vitamins; Wednesday, February 28, at United Methodist Church at 7:15 p.m., new or used Beanie Babies; Wednesday, March 7, at Trinity Church in Brevort at 7:15 p.m., snack size plastic bags; Wednesday, March 14, at United Methodist Church at 7:15 p.m., cash for the Honduras trip or food for the pantry; Wednesday, March 21, at St. Ignatius Loyola at 7:15 p.m., cash or food for the pantry; Wednesday, March 28, at Moran Catholic Church at 7:15 p.m., food for the pantry; Thursday, April 5, Maundy Thursday, at United Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m., food for the pantry, and Friday, April 6, Good Friday, at Zion Lutheran Church at 12:15 p.m., food for the pantry.
